Myanmar Emergency Appeal 

With heavy hearts, we reach out to you today to address the crisis in Myanmar. Our brothers and sisters have been hit with an earthquake, after years of facing relentless attacks and generations of unimaginable suffering. They are in desperate need of our assistance NOW!

28 have already been confirmed killed at Shwe Pho Shing Mosque when it collapsed during Friday prayers, as well as two other mosques.

Hundreds of others have likely been killed by the huge Earthquake that has rocked central Myanmar. We ask Allah (swt), the Most Merciful, to have mercy on their souls and grant them a place in His spacious paradise.

Since February 2021 the country has been run by the military, sparking a civil war that has displaced 3.5 million people and left 20 million in need of aid just this year.

Their suffering is ongoing, and the wounds of their injured cannot truly heal due to the war. They need assistance now!

 "Whoever relieves a believer's distress in this world, Allah (swt) will relieve their distress on the Day of Resurrection." [Muslim]

Nu'man bin Bashir (R.A) reported: Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said, "The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion and sympathy are just like one body. When one of the limbs suffers, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever". [Bukhari - Muslim]
