Millions of lives affected by floods in Bangladesh

Millions have been affected as catastrophic floods sweep across Bangladesh, claiming countless lives and leaving millions stranded without essential resources. We pray to Allah (swt), the Most Merciful, to grant mercy to those who have perished and a place in His spacious paradise. Ameen.

This marks the fourth natural disaster in Bangladesh since May. According to Manish Kumar Agrawal, Country Director for Concern in Bangladesh, "Over 40% of the population is affected."

The majority depend on seasonal crops for their livelihood and sustenance. Tragically, the floods have obliterated their crops, destroyed animal shelters, killed livestock, and ruined vital farming machinery, leaving homes in ruins.
